    Members book in plain words

    Thursday 22 October, 7:00 to 8:30 pm4 players
Every court is taken. Join the waitlist: you would be 3rd.

    When a court frees up

It works like the paddle stack at open play: first in line gets the next court, and nobody at the desk has to make phone calls.

Lena cancels Court 2 at 3:55 pm.

The 8:00 pm slot is free again, in the busiest hours of the week, and two members are already waiting for one.

Rally texts the first member waiting.

Priya Raman joined the waitlist at 9:12 am. She has ten minutes to claim the court before Marcus Bell gets the same text.

Priya taps yes, and the court is hers.

She pays when she claims it, her partners get the details, and Marcus moves to the top of the list.

    Open play to payments

Open play rotates by paddle stack, ladders post their own scores, clinics keep a cover list, and check-ins take payment at the door.

A doubles rally at an outdoor tournament.
    Open play
Players sign in at the desk or on their phone, Rally keeps the paddle stack and calls the next four to a court. Drop-in fees are charged at sign-in.
    Leagues and ladders
Schedules, court assignments and standings. Players enter their own scores; challenges book their own courts.
    Clinics
A coach, a cap, a waitlist and a cover list for the evening someone calls in sick.
    Check-ins and payments
Tap a name to see what they owe. Card or cash at the desk, refunds in one click, and a no-show fee if you set one.

    Questions

Four players in sun hats playing doubles at the net on a green outdoor court
    Doubles on a weekday morning.
Do members need to download an app?

No. Members book, join the waitlist and pay from a link that opens in any phone browser. They can save it to their home screen if they like.

How does the waitlist decide who gets a court?

First in line, first offered. Rally texts the first member whose times fit, gives them ten minutes to claim the court, then moves to the next. You can change the window or offer a court by hand.

What happens when two bookings land on one court?

Rally stops it at booking. When staff override, or a league schedule collides with a member booking, the clash goes to the top of the day with the courts that are free at that time, so you can move one booking in a click and the players are told.

Can I run open play and bookings on the same evening?

Yes. Block courts for open play, set the level and the drop-in fee, and the rest stay bookable. Open play keeps its own paddle stack.

How do payments reach the club?

Members pay by card when they book or at check-in, and payouts go to the club’s bank account. Cash at the desk is recorded against the member.

A coach called in sick. What now?

Mark them out and Rally shows which coaches are free at that hour. Ask one in a click; if nobody can cover, cancel and refund every player at once.

Can I bring my members from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Upload a CSV with names, emails and phone numbers, and Rally sends each member their link.

What happens when the 14 days are up?

Choose a plan to keep going. If you do not, nothing is charged, because no card was asked for, and your club’s data is kept for 30 days in case you come back.
