THE HYPE KEVIN / Rally builds

OCTOBER 22, 2026 / FOUR DESIGN SKILLS, TWO AGENTS

Rally, built thirty times.

Every build from the video, as the agents wrote it. Four design skills plus a plain run with no skill, each on Claude Code with Opus 5.5 and on Codex with GPT-6.1 Sol. Each setup got the same brief twice, then redesigned the same plain app once. Open any of them and click around. The buttons, tabs and filters work as far as each agent built them.

Want to judge them blind first? Vote at the arena before you look, because everything here is labelled.

Plain

No skill, just the agent. The baseline every skill is up against.

The brief for builds 1 and 2

I'm building Rally, a SaaS for pickleball clubs with 1 to 12 courts. Club managers use it to run court bookings, open play, leagues and clinics, a waitlist when courts fill up, member check-ins and payments.

Build two screens as a static prototype I can open in a browser: plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, no build step, no backend.

1. index.html: the marketing landing page that sells Rally to club managers. Pricing: Club $29/mo (up to 4 courts), Pro $79/mo (up to 12 courts, with leagues and clinics), Network $199/mo (several locations). 14-day free trial, no card needed. 2. app.html: the manager's dashboard for today at a made-up club, Dink District in Austin, Texas: 8 courts, open 6 am to 10 pm. Today, Court 3 is double-booked at 6:00 pm (the Hendersons' doubles and a ladder match), two members are on the waitlist for prime time, and the coach for the 7:00 pm beginner clinic called in sick. Also show today's bookings and check-ins, this week's revenue and no-shows, and anything else the manager needs to act on.

Make up realistic data for the dashboard. Make it look good. When you're done, tell me which files to open.

The redesign request

This is my app, Rally, a SaaS for pickleball clubs. index.html is the marketing landing page and app.html is the club manager's dashboard. It works, but it looks like every other AI-made app. Redesign both screens. Keep all the content, the data, the prices and what each screen does. When you're done, tell me which files to open.

No human answered questions or touched the code. Rally, Dink District and everyone in the data is made up. Some builds use public domain photos from Wikimedia Commons, credited on the page.
